Some Thoughts

I wrote blog has been for some time, but I can not write all what I mean in English completely accurate and correct. Maybe the sentence I wrote will make my foreign friends laugh, or they cann't understand what I mean at all, or can only rely on guess. I am sorry to you! I think something must be done about it.

The following sentences are extracted from the blog of my friend:
-don't think "what if....." Just do it.
-a sense of order makes a lot of difference.
-If you really want something, laziness shouldn't be in your vocabulary.
-Be tough.Do what's necessary.

I can understand them easily, each sentence are simple, there is no uncommon words, no complex structures, they are fluent. But I cann't do it like this.

Where can I go for help?

No no I think your English is really good already, relative to many ppl I know, whose mother tongue isn't English.

I think a main part of learning the language is to not ACCURATELY use grammar, spelling, etc, but have a sense about it. It's a feeling and should come naturally once you are familiar enough with it. I think by the time you hear an English voice in your head when you write...that's when you know you are good to go!

Another part of improving has to do with cultural emersion. If you don't live in that kind of environment, there's really no other way to simulate an equally efficient learning experience. Just try your best. Do what I said: read lots. It sucks that you can't listen to English radio or watch TV...because that really helped me, at least to know how to speak more casually, how to use slangs, etc. Try BBC, CBC, ABC...just search for them on Google. Most news websites have updated audio that you can listen to. It should help.

You probably shouldn't take my writing style/grammar usage to heart, because I'm writing casually as well, so I'm not really paying as much attention to grammar as I should be. It's hard to be able to distinguish between casual and formal writing at this stage for you, so I wouldn't want to mislead you anyway. I have some written essays for school that have better organization, grammar, and have more formal tones. If you want I can post one up. I think before you can use slangs and stuff, it's better to polish up on the formal aspect first.
